COVID-19 the Precautions

To whom it may concern,

We would just like to inform you that due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) we have taken many extra precautions around our centre to minimise the transmission of illness’. The precautions include extra cleaning on our schedules and several information posters on display.

With this being said we ask that if you are experiencing any ill health or symptoms of the flu/covid-19 you follow the guidance set by the NHS and be sure to inform us before attending the centre for your training or appointments.

Can we please remind you of some preventatives?

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.
  • Put used tissues in the bin straight away.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often for a minimum of 20 seconds– use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

Due to the high contamination rate we will be offering all candidates with confirmed Covid-19 and Influenza the opportunity to reschedule any courses booked during the self isolation/infected stage of either of these illness’ to be completed within a 6 month period of the original course commencement date. For you to attend centre after being confirmed to have one of these virus’s we will be asking for a signed certificate of health from a doctor or health professional, please call or e-mail us to discuss.

If you attend the centre for a training course and are suspected by our staff members to be of ill health, we will ask you to leave the centre to obtain advice from the 111 helplines before returning to our premises.

As a family run training centre, we care about all our staff, customers and industry visitors and we hope this e-mail has put your mind at ease over the recent epidemic. We wish you all good health and hope to continue our great training and assessments during this panic to ensure the homes of Britain stay lit and warm.

If you have any questions or problems regarding our processes during this time, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.

Best regards
